This 12" vinyl is the second studio album by The Police, originally released in 1979. This copy is a UK pressing on the A&M Records label, identifiable by the large gold "A&M" logo on the center label. The album was produced by the band and Nigel Gray.


The main story of this release is the band's rapid rise to global fame, propelled by the massive hit singles "Message in a Bottle" and "Walking on the Moon".

The title is a play on "white reggae" and established the trio as post-punk innovators. This pressing includes the original catalog number AMLH 64792.
