Released on March 22, 1974, On the Border is the third studio album by the American rock band the Eagles. It marked a significant shift from their early country-rock roots to a harder, more rock-oriented sound, produced primarily by Bill Szymczyk. This album features the first appearance of guitarist Don Felder and includes their first No. 1 hit, "Best of My Love".

Sleeve: VG+ to EX. Original 1974 pressings are distinguished by a unique textured "matte" jacket. Standard wear includes light rubbing or edge softening, but "Frameable" copies should be free of major seam splits or staining.
Media: VG+ to NM. High-quality original pressings often feature "STERLING" stamped in the runout. Surfaces should be glossy with minimal superficial marks; some copies feature a hidden message in the runout groove: "He who hesitates is lunch".
